Giving Thanks

Posted on November 23, 2009

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I thought it would be nice to step down from my soapbox, stop pumping my fists, and allow the kinder, gentler Nina to share…this week☺. Honestly, I have much to be grateful for this holiday season, and well… in life in general. While many Americans are still facing financial crisis, I (despite my complaints) am employed. And what I have learned is that sometimes you have to take a step back, to take two steps forward. To be able to fulfill my economic responsibilities and satisfy my needs without having to beg, borrow or steal, in this day and age is something to rejoice about!

I am so very grateful to have the love and support of my family. Especially since I am over 200 miles away from them. I cherish all the memories; the good times, the family events, our unity and even our disputes are near and dear to my heart. My personality is comprised of bits and pieces of all of them. And I wouldn’t trade my family for any other. My life’s experiences have led me to this point right here, right now.

We launched, redesigned and re- launched our site and you all have been so gracious to allow us into your lives on a weekly basis. You read our blogs, download our shows, send us emails and/or post your comments. We love the feedback and continue to be encouraged by your support.

THANK YOU!!!!!
Nina

Now back to the regularly scheduled program LOL!
