I have to admit at times with all the cookie cutter so called fashionistas walking around I tend to get bored easily with the “trends”. But this week I had a chance to sit down and finally browse through my fashion chronicles and stumbled upon this…
Hellz Bellz has done it again, the street wear/contemporary fashion brand introduced their holiday 2009 collection this month, “Cult Classic” with inspiration and elements from the film Heathers. “Cult Classic seeks to personify the seemingly innocent girl with anything but innocent intentions.”
For some this may be far fetched, but for the detail lovers I’m sure you can appreciate a few pieces. The collection creates a moody and subtle feel with the use of a darker holiday color palette giving off a sense of mischief throughout the collection.
“This collection includes; the ‘Villain’s’ jacket, a unique play on a motorcycle / pea-coat jacket, with an exaggerated collar, perforated leather sleeves and wool body. The ‘Kiss My…’ shemagh skirt with tie and fringe details. As always, witty design and intricate detail are a staple for the collection and only help further prove that volatile and sly girls will forever be ‘Cult Classics.’ -Hellz Bellz
